The following information is a general overview of the application materials that are needed to mark your application complete for graduate admission at University of the Pacific.
Transcripts
To complete your application file, transcripts for all coursework taken after high school are required, no matter how few credits were earned from the institution.
CAS/Liaison Applicants: Official transcripts must be submitted to Liaison through the CAS application system for your program. Please use the links provided in the table below "Standardized Test Scores" for further instructions. For transcripts to be considered official, they must be in an envelope that has been sealed by the issuing institution.
CAS programs include: Athletic Training, Audiology, Nursing, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, Physician Assistant Studies, and Speech-Language Pathology.
All other applicants: Unofficial transcripts will be accepted for application review, and can be uploaded into the online application in Slate. To qualify, transcripts must include ALL of the same information that would appear on an official transcript, including:
- Full Name
- Name of the college/university
- A complete list of all coursework listed by academic term, including number of units and grades earned
- Any degree already earned (and the degree date
The upload must be large enough to read, not blurry or pixelated, and all pages must be rotated so that the text is right-side up (not upside down or sideways). Unless the back of the transcript is completely blank (no stamps, signatures, grading scales or course information, etc.), the front and back of the transcript must be uploaded.

Letters of Recommendation
Up to three recommendation letters are required for each applicant, depending on the program. Please check with the program to learn about program-specific recommender requirements.
Letter of recommendation requests will be sent electronically when completing your online application. Each letter must come directly from the recommender using a valid email address.

GRE: The Graduate Record Examination (GRE) requirement varies by program and if required, an application is not complete without the receipt of official results sent directly from the testing service. Please consult the individual program's admission criteria.
English Language Exams: University of the Pacific is registered to receive IELTS, TOEFL, and Duolingo scores.

All other applicants must contact the testing organization to request the official test report form be sent to University of the Pacific’s Graduate Admission office.
IELTS score reports can be sent by mail or by contacting the test center where the IELTS test was taken to request the official test report form be sent electronically. We do not accept unofficial copies test report forms from applicants.
